"Hi Bonnie, I am checking out today after a two week stay at your hotel.
I wanted to comment on the great customer service I received from your staff during my stay. Throughout my stay, everyone on your staff was cordial and tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible. This was especially important to me during the stay as I am dealing with my home being flooded and going through the restoration process with insurance companies and a restoration company. I did need a place that helped to take away my stress level. When I came to the hotel the first day after my flood to check out housing, Paul Durst was accommodating and understanding--a great person to greet your potential customers. He, along with Amy, really did extend themselves on several occasions to help me. Your housekeeping staff--Mary, Tracy, Chip (people I saw regularly)--are friendly and work hard to make a room comfortable. Also, your maintenance man (I'm sorry but his name escapes me) was called several times to check maintenance issues in my room. He did it quickly and with a pleasant attitude. Your breakfast staff always seem to be happy! Another nice thing to find while staying in a hotel and missing the comfort of home. I know that a manager often hears the complaints and not always the compliments when due. I wanted to make sure to let you know my stay was a good one and one that was made good by the quality staff you have hired. Thank you."
"I'm writing to tell you how impressed I am with the staff of the Residence Inn located in Cranberry, PA. I've stayed in hotels in North America, the Caribbean, and Asia, but I've never stayed at a hotel where the service has been so wonderful. Most of the staff is polite, friendly, and hard-working. Many of them try to anticipate their clients' needs. And they are so warm and outgoing. It feels like I'm staying with family members. And some go above and beyond. I'd like to mention a few names, certainly not at the expense of the rest of the staff. But a few people do stand out, though virtually everyone from housekeeping, to maintenance, to the ladies who work in the dining area have all been extremely nice.Your front desk staff is very good and knowledgeable, always helpful. Paul Durst is a standout as is Kristen Johnson, but they are all very good. Elizabeth from sales is also wonderful. She's very competent and through, funny and charming. All of the ladies in the dining area are so cheerful and upbeat every morning. The staff from the maintenance always seems to have a friendly word and a smile or joke. And most of the housekeepers are friendly as well. You should be justifiably proud of your staff. I stayed at another hotel in Cranberry during the first week of November. They were absolutely terrible. I realize that most of the hotels here in Cranberry have high occupancy rates. Your hotel staff is very professional and could certainly teach your competitor a lot about the hotel industry."
